Yes, my friends, I've crossed the finish line. I wrote a fifty thousand word novel in thirty days! I sent out an email to all my friends, and I think I'll just post that here so I don't have to type it all again.

I WROTE A 50,000 WORD NOVEL IN THIRTY DAYS!!! (In case I haven't told you about this, you
can either delete this or read on.  I just sent it to my entire adress book)

Yes, I did it! I've written a novel in thirty days. Granted, it is not finished yet, but I
wrote the 50k that is all of novel writing month. And let me tell you, it's really really
hard. I wrote 7k last night in one sitting. *wipes sweat off forehead*.

It was a ton of fun, but now that it's over I don't even know what to do with my free
time. Lol! So, I thought I'd give ya'll some basic stats on this book with my now freaking
amazing fast typing skills I acquired over the month (*giggle*)

Title: Delilah's Demon
Author: Me!!!
Genre: Young Adult/Fantasy/Romance/Slight Horror
Words so far: 50,078 (in less then one month)
Link to author page and novel excerpt: http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/user/168945 (I hate
that excerpt but it was the only one I could fit in the space alotted that made any sense
so please don't read it!)

So, now that I've gotten all of that great enthusiasm out, I think I'm going to go sleep
(I actually slept from 12:23 A.M. to 2:14 P.M. today)

Recycle!

National Novel Writing Month! Horray!

So this is the thing that sapps the sanity I have every November by trying to write a novel in thirty days. Insane right? Well it's totally fun and I wouldn't give it up for anything. Right now it's being planned and I've been having the hardest time naming the thing! Because we can't start writing until November first I am doing EVERYTHING beforehand so I don't have to do it during November. I will probobly post an excerpt come Novey but I need some title help. I think I'll name it 'All's Fair in Love and War'.

I just got home from auditions for our fall play. The high school has an awesome drama program to it'll be way great. We're putting on 'The Crucible'. I auditioned for the part of Abigail Williams but I also put on our little sheet that because she's a main character and there will be alot of auditions for her that I would also like to be either Susan Walcott or mary (I forgot her last name). The call backs will be posted tomorrow morning so I'm way nervous!

Anyway I made some icons I really like so I think I will put them here for you to see!

I just thought that I'd say 'THANK YOU!' to FifthofDecember for being an awesome friend of 19 hours! *laughter*

She is creating all of us (her friends-25 of us!) icons. Aww! How sweet. So I though I'd make her an icon. I hope to have it up tonight but my sister has a volleyball game (GO CHARGERS!) and I've gotta go so I can see some of my old friends. It was a private school that housed grades K-8 and I graduated last year (*happy*). Although I do miss the friends there. So I might see some tonight! Yay

I would have to say that honest critique has made me the best writer I can be. When others give me feedback on writing while telling good and bad then I think it helps me grow as a writer and to prepare myself for the publishing world. *ha!*

Well thanks to all the wonderful people at HPFF (*hugs*) I've decided to just leave the Blaise story as is and just have a little note so all who read will know the circumstances.

On Sunday I did go out to breakfast with my dad and then my sister and I spent the rest of the day with him. It was actually really fun. He and Judy talked about New York alot but other than that it was pretty okay. He seemed really excited to have us with him and I really didn't have the heart to be mean to him.

I am supposed to be doing homework but my mom's not home so I'm playing around on the computer and looking at HPFF and The Dark Arts. Huh.

I'm going to a varsity and junior varsity volleyball game tonight at the high school. One of my friends is on the Varsity team and the other on the junior Varsity. We are all three freshmen though so it isn't like the one on JV is sucky or anything. She's awesome!

I think later tonight I'll put a blurb of the Blaise fic up here but right now I've got to go let the dog outside and wash the dishes. Ugh.

Ugh. I feel so sick right now. I took a nap for an hour or so but still I have a headache and my stomach hurts. Blech. I think I might take some of this time to write. Except my mom just said that I need to work on my homework in a little bit which means 10 minutes to her. And I need to re-try on these shoes to make sure they fit.

Also my dad called at like 11:00 and told me his flight from New York was getting moved to 7:30 tonight which means he won't get back until 11:00 pm. And it's his weekend! So he's gonna try and make up for it with breakfast tomorrow but you can't make up for two days of missed time with 2 hours of breakfast. And on top of that my mom is trying to force me into telling her all my feelings (angry or hurt or sad or whatever) about my dad when I don't want to and she got super mad at me. Today was/is not my day. And there is still 9 hours and 18 minutes for something else to go wrong. Woop-ee! *heavy sarcasm*

Well hi. I'm not gonna start with any of the intro stuff. I'm just going to say a little problem I've got right now so that someone with know and hopefully comment saying that it's alright.

Here it is:
I started writing this Blaise/Pansy and Blaise/Hermione fiction but I made the banner and started writing the story before I figured out he was black. I don't know if I should change out my banner (which would be really hard...) and story descriptions or just keep it the same and make sure the readers understand the circumstances. I'm thinking of just doing the latter (*points to userpic* *giggle*) but I hope some hardcore Blaise people don't flame me for it. What to do? What to do?!
